Working with Thief Presents and Psycho California, I created motion backgrounds for the festival and for a handful of performing bands. The goal was to mix the festival’s pre-existing identity (seen below) with the individual band identities.
While I don’t consider these to be concert-visusals in the typical sense, they add depth to the live performances. The Thief background looped around the venue throughout the festival’s 3-day run. Each band background looped through the duration of their individual set.
