Album Art – Major Label Artists

Quick selection of some favorite projects. Major label project processes vary quite a quite a bit. With Soundgarden and Chris Cornell, there were longer timelines with more involved creative processes.  One example being the King Animal artwork: We conceptualized the general idea over the course of 4 months, and then I built the cover sculpture in my attic, fake snow, real flowers etc.   

On the other hand, the general major label process is much quicker.  For example, Ringo Starr’s art usually unfolds within a few days, and sometimes released publicly within a few weeks of the project’s start.
